I'm studying - and I can't always find a word in an ordinary dictionary so I use a . It can be a bit...a bit difficult if I don't know in my own language but it's definitely worth having one so (while) you can refer to it when you are reading and textbooks. The one I've got on computing also has which explain the background to certain things -like there's one on data preparation and another on . I also find it useful for explaining abbreviations and like FEP that's front end processor, and BIOS -basic input/output system. It even has quotes from current computer magazines and newspapers using the word as well as the normal example sentences.

So I'd definitely recommend having one.
